Daruvar, Croatia is a place I probably would not have visited.  It's a bit out of the way, about two hour's drive from Zagreb.  I went to have a long delayed surgical procedure done, and Daruvar was the place.

Dr. Ignatovski worked on my right hand.  The ring finger was restricted by Dupuytren's Contracture and the surgery corrected it.  

Daruvar is the home of natural hot springs for centuries thought to have medicinal properties.

(above left) Steam from the hot spring covers a war damaged building.  (above right) the house where patients would recuperate in the bathes.

Arcadia is on the edge of a beautiful little park.
